(it even doesn't matter if they break your unit,after his attacks you will have nothing left to hit bach with,and even if the chariot breaks your chances to catch it are slimm,and will usually just mess up your battleline).Д«ut chaos is rather weak in this edition,especially against shooting,the only armies that perform well in my opinion are tcheenz armies,especially the cheesy ones (1 sorcerer on a dragon,2 giants and 3 chariots for instance). They tend to have expensive and few troops, our firepower really comes in handy,especially the Str 7 shooting,because you don't want a chaos chariot hitting your units.

I've never played against nurgle, but I have heard they are a tough nut to crack as well.ДЄ Nurgle player myself ,i think dwarfs are ideally suited to counter chaos. They are likely to carry a banner that cuts your weapon skill in half, while casting magic that makes you move where you do not want to be. Slanesh is also tough in the hands of a good player. Add to that the amount of power dice you will see, and you have a tough cookie. Magic that makes your unit beat itself, or turns members into horrors is rough.

Khorne can be lead around if they are not screened by something. This is especially true if you do not know what army you will be facing.ДЄlso remember that each mark will be bringing its own set of nastiness. A mostly cav based army is a mess for dwarfs. At best, they can get lucky and charge you on turn 1 (using magic) They are a priority, they get in your lines, and then you're all kinds of 'I swear too much.' They can take out 2 artillery in one turn if they are lucky. Marauder Horsemen- Fast Cav, 16 inch march, 16 inch charge. Marauders- The infantry marauders are nothing, you can ignore them for the most part. They also move 2D6 or 3D6 if with the mark of Slaanesh. With T5 and three wounds being unbreakable the dwarf warriors will never kill the things. A lot of people who choose chaos like their knights and or chosen warriors which are VERY expensive, and make good targets.ДЁ. Now the daemonic legion is more or less history, (as are all of the SOC lists), Daemons do not get a Daemonic save against magic weapons, so its even more important to rune up the artillery/charactersД§. I would always take an organ gun as well.Д¦. Most have at least one chariot so S7 on those bolt throwers are essential.ДҐ. Pure chaos armies are quite small, or they have less well armoured and more easily panicked Beastmen, or Marauders.Д¤. Hounds do panic easily though, unless their gen is close.ДЈ. Beware of furies, and hounds as they will go for your artillery. If facing Khorne they are frenzied so the Gyro is essential to lead them away from your battle line.Дў. I have to say I haven't played pure chaos with dwarves yet.
